Black lacquer, brushed gold, a single star at the crown. This is holiday drinkware treated like jewellery rather than seasonal novelty.

Design Story

The wraparound composition reads in three clear tiers. Up top, an arched band sets the San Diego Padres name between two SD marks. The centre panel carries the focal figure: a bearded Santa in a black and gold coat, calm and smiling, one hand resting on an SD baseball, a bell at his belt. Gilded palms frame him, a skyline and Petco Park banner anchor the base, and a scroll reads GOOD PLAYERS BRIGHTER HOLIDAYS. Below, poinsettias in deep red flank a medallion SD crest with ribbon and ornaments, closing on BASEBALL BRINGS US TOGETHER. The near-black ground does the heavy lifting, letting gold carry the hierarchy without noise.

Use & Experience

On a vertical tumbler silhouette the layering works in your favour: the Santa panel sits at eye level as the front-facing anchor, while the banded typography follows the curve top and bottom. Even the handle face carries the crest, so carry presence holds from any angle.
