The composition is strictly centred: an interlocking orange NY monogram sits inside a raised, arch-framed focal panel, banner lettering reading NEW YORK METS above it, EST. 1962 anchoring the base. Deep navy carries the field, while antique metallic scrollwork, jewel accents and a low-relief city skyline with a bridge silhouette build the border rhythm. The palette is restrained to two speaking colours — navy and orange — with everything else pushed into tonal metal, so the monogram holds the eye without competition. It's ornamental, but disciplined.
