The eye lands on the moon first. It rises pale gold behind a spired manor, and everything else on the label — the gates, the lanterns, the scrollwork — arranges itself around that single glow.

Design Story

The composition works as a framed scene. An arched window opens onto a Gothic house with lit amber windows, bare branches reaching across the sky, and iron gates closed at the foreground. Two winged griffin figures crown the upper corners, and sculpted acanthus scrollwork in warm bronze tones runs down both sides, giving the label a raised, carved appearance. Below the illustration, serif lettering reads BLACKWOOD ESTATE, with a smaller banded plate beneath it marked SCENTED CANDLE and AUTUMN COLLECTION. The hierarchy is clear: moon, manor, name, detail. Cream jar and pale wood lid keep the dark centre panel from feeling heavy.

Ambiance & Styling

On a candle jar, this is a front-facing statement piece. The label wraps the silhouette so the ornate border reads from the side while the manor scene sits square to the viewer, and the light lid gives the composition a clean upper edge. It holds a mantel, a shelf, or an autumn tablescape without needing anything beside it, and it presents well as a gift.
