A circular disc built around stillness rather than spectacle. The spider sits centred, poised, holding the composition together like a clasp.

Design Story

The palette is disciplined: deep teal and smoky green through the centre, warmed by antique gold linework that traces the web outward to the rim. A moon-phase arc runs across the upper third, giving the round format a clear reading line, while ivory lilies anchor the lower quadrants with soft tonal contrast against the darker field. Two small bats sit off-axis, breaking perfect symmetry just enough to keep the eye moving. The border treatment follows the curve in a slim dark ring, framing the segmented, stained-glass-looking panels without competing with them. Negative space is deliberate — the web's open weave lets light read through the design instead of fighting it.

Window & Light Styling

As a round window hanging, the central focal structure works from a distance while the fine gold detailing rewards a closer look. Hung against daylight, the darker segments and the gilded web line create a strong graphic silhouette in the frame.
